    Helmets and Vests

Protective headgear is mandatory for everyone 18 years and under mounted on a horse or carriage, and for all participants in the marathon portion of a Combined Driving Event. Coaches wear protective clothing - particularly helmets, gloves and footwear both for personal safety and to set a good example.

In the interest of encouraging the use of protective headgear and vests, we are able to offer a substantial saving on approved helmets and protective vests. Normal retail on a $90 helmet will be $65, and the high tech protective vests retailing at $290 are offered to members at $245 effective March 31, 2005. These items will make terrific gifts for your favourite driver.
